The Reason Behind We're Back '97
This flyer represented the contributions of many of Peace river's Businesses. It was put together with a great deal of assistance from many volunteers notably the Peace River Record Gazette. It comprised over 60+ pages and was, as far as is known, the largest group flyer put out in Peace River's history.
Businesses paid a fee for the flyer, a portion of which went to the flood relief program. One notable feature of the participation was that a number of community minded businesses paid for the ads of other flood affected businesses which were not in a position to pay themselves. Again this truly shows the spirit and friendship of the Peace River community.
